A class IX student has been found dead in the bathroom of a private residential school in Dharwad.

The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Pritam Sangappa Kapli.

He was studying in Vidya P. Hanchinamani Residential School in Dharwad.

Pritam was a native of Hire Ulligeri village in Saundatti taluk of Belagavi district.

According to the Dharwad Rural Police, Pritam was found dead in the bathroom on Sunday afternoon. Further investigation is on.
