Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad on Monday participated in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme held at the Guntur District Collectorate and reviewed the functioning of a special Revenue Clinic set up to address public complaints.

The Chief Secretary visited the Revenue Clinic set up at the S.R. Sankaran conference hall, where the majority of grievances were related to revenue matters. He spent nearly three hours at the facility, examining petitions submitted at various counters and observing how officials received and processed complaints.

During his visit, Mr. Sai Prasad interacted directly with petitioners to understand their concerns and reviewed recurring revenue-related issues in detail. He also assessed the response mechanism adopted by officials and staff while dealing with the public. Officials said the Chief Secretary sat alongside staff members and personally explained procedures to citizens. He also observed operational challenges faced by the department.

District Collector C..M. Sai Kanth Varma and Joint Collector Ashutosh Srivastava accompanied the Chief Secretary and received petitions from the public.

The Collector interacted with the differently-abled persons who arrived, to submit their grievances. The Collector assured them and said: “Wherever you are, we will come there,” while receiving their petitions.

District Revenue Officer Shaik Khajavali and other district officials also participated in the programme.
