Excise officials seized 7 kg of ganja from the Kochuveli (Thiruvananthapuram North) railway station late Sunday.

The contraband was seized from the railway premises during a raid conducted on the basis of a tip-off. Efforts are under way to nab the person responsible for smuggling the contraband. The excise team also destroyed a bunch of ganja plants that were found from the locality.
