The Thiruvananthapuram Rural Police arrested three youths in connection with the murder of a teenager at Punnamoodu two days ago.

The Naruvamoodu police identified the accused as Aromal, Ajith and Karthikeyan. They have been accused of murdering Sivasoorya, 18, following a scuffle that occurred on Saturday night.

The police suspect the attack is linked to a dispute that occurred during a football match over a year ago. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital.
