চার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে নতুন উপাচার্য নিয়োগ

The government has officially appointed new vice-chancellors for four public universities across the country. Through separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Education, new leadership was named for Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Pirojpur Science and Technology University, and Rabindra University, while the newly established Lakshmipur Science and Technology University received its first-ever vice-chancellor. Professor M. M. Hemayet Jahan, Mohammad Chobirul Islam Howlader, and Professor Tahmina Akhter have been appointed to lead the first three institutions, respectively. Meanwhile, Professor Mohammad Hanif has been selected to head the Lakshmipur campus. The outgoing vice-chancellors of the three existing universities have been relieved of their duties and permitted to return to their previous academic positions. These appointments are for a four-year term, though the Chancellor retains the authority to revoke them at any time. All newly appointed officials are required to reside on their respective campuses to ensure effective administrative oversight.

This administrative reshuffle reflects a significant change in the leadership structure of key public higher education institutions in Bangladesh.
