KIOO Limited has reinforced its commitment to community development in the Mkuranga District by donating 150 million shillings worth of equipment and infrastructure improvements over the past year. Recent contributions included computers and photocopiers for Msorwa and Malela secondary schools, valued at 8 million shillings. Beyond educational hardware, the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives have funded classroom renovations, water well construction, and clean energy projects. Company representatives emphasize that these projects are selected based on direct requests from village leaders to ensure they address the most pressing local needs. Local education officials have praised this collaborative approach, noting that private sector support is essential to overcoming resource limitations in public schools. Looking ahead, KIOO Limited has already committed to further infrastructure upgrades for 2026, including health center improvements and water purification systems for local institutions.
