Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, has criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency for its response to recent security incidents at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. According to the diplomat, the agency failed to provide a clear or definitive assessment regarding the reported violations of the ceasefire regime in the vicinity of the facility. Ulyanov suggested that the IAEA's communication on the matter lacked the necessary specificity to address the gravity of the situation. He expressed dissatisfaction with the watchdog's neutral stance, implying that it avoids assigning responsibility for the dangerous military activity near the plant. The Russian official emphasized that such ambiguity hinders efforts to ensure the long-term safety and operational integrity of the nuclear site.
