In the early hours of June 9, Kharkiv was subjected to a significant drone assault by Russian forces. The strikes triggered multiple explosions across the city, leading to fires in both the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts. Local authorities confirmed that a residential high-rise building was among the structures hit during the bombardment.
Emergency services were deployed to the affected areas to manage the fires and provide aid. According to city officials, at least one municipal facility sustained damage, and a worker at that site was among those injured. Current reports indicate that approximately ten people have been wounded as a result of the overnight offensive.
