A 24-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night in Iguaba Grande, in Rio de Janeiro's Lakes Region, after being caught driving a stolen vehicle. Police officers on patrol identified a car suspected of being cloned and attempted to stop it, prompting the driver to flee. The suspect was apprehended on Avenida Iguabela after a brief pursuit. Upon inspection, authorities confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen and charged the man with receiving stolen property. In addition to recovering the stolen car, police seized a second vehicle connected to the case and R$ 290 in cash. The arrest resulted from coordinated efforts between intelligence, surveillance, and patrol units working together.
